Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of the Emberling app. Using Emberling means you agree to them.
The service
Emberling helps you build habits with an AI-shaped daily plan and a companion. It's a wellbeing tool, not a medical service — nothing in Emberling is medical, psychological, or professional advice.
Your account
You need an account (email or Sign in with Apple) to sync your data. You're responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 to use Emberling.
Emberling Pro subscriptions
- Emberling Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription — monthly or yearly — billed through your Apple ID.
- The yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you're charged the yearly price.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Prices vary by country. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies (request a refund).
- The free tier stays functional without a subscription: 3 daily habits, daily companion chats, and your full history.
Your content
Your habits, reflections, and chats are yours. You give us the limited license needed to store, process, and display them back to you — that's it. See the Privacy Policy for how data is handled and deleted.
Fair use
Don't abuse the service: no attempting to break, overload, or reverse the app or its AI features, and no using Emberling for unlawful ends. We may suspend accounts that do.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Emberling reliable, but the service is provided "as is" without warranties, and features may evolve. If we make material changes to these terms, we'll note it in the app.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for Emberling in the 12 months before a claim.
